Testimonials

I want to express my appreciation for all ISC-Cairo has done. For the first time, I feel that my child really likes going to school. He wakes up early and now fulfills his promise to his teacher by attending the morning assembly line and completing all assigned homework. I am really happy and I cannot believe that with a bit of encouragement he would change. Thank you all for your cooperation and for taking the time to listen and find a solution. Thank you so much and I wish you all the best.

I don’t have to look far to know how successful the SABIS® system is. My daughter, Sevan, graduated from ISC-Dubai in 2006 and she enrolled in McGill University at the age of 17, as a second-year student given her AP credits. She graduated in 2009, with first-class honors, from the computer science program, with a minor in philosophy - just two months short of her twentieth birthday. Currently, she is working on her master’s thesis after finishing all required coursework. All this and she is not yet 21! She was brought up in the Choueifat system which taught the students to not only excel but to be leaders.

I believe there are few places like the International School of Choueifat-Erbil in Kurdistan. I have enjoyed the international environment and the opportunity to work hard and immediately see the results. We are doing very important development work in this school, and it has been very satisfying for me personally to be part of the Iraqi nation-building on a different level.

ISC–Lahore and ISC–Cairo Students Receive Outstanding Achiever Awards

Five students from the SABIS® School Network recently received Outstanding Achiever Awards for their impressive results on the June 2009 Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations. Three students from The International School of Choueifat–Lahore and two students from The International School of Choueifat–Cairo were recognized for placing in the top 10 worldwide for exam performance in a subject or having the highest score in their country when more than 100 candidates there sat for the exam.

University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) is the world’s largest provider of international qualifications for 14–19 year olds. Cambridge IGCSE exams are taken by students from over 2,000 schools in more than 100 countries around the world. The ISC students, four of whom are currently in Grade 12 and one who graduated in 2009, earned recognition in math, English literature, business studies, history, and computer science.

The students recognized at ISC–Lahore received their Cambridge Outstanding Achiever Awards, formerly known as the Cambridge Brilliance Awards, on February 2 during a school assembly. “We’re very pleased with their achievement. It shows that our students are receiving the proper foundation of knowledge to achieve high academic standards,” commented ISC–Lahore Director, Margo Abdel Aziz. Award recipients at ISC–Cairo will receive their certificates on March 24, 2010.

This achievement is not a first for ISC–Lahore as students have recurrently won High Achiever certificates from Edexcel UK for recording top scores in various O Level and A Level examinations.  For ISC–Cairo, however, this is the first time students have received this distinguished award.

Through the comprehensive SABIS® Educational System including a world-class curriculum, SABIS® students are prepared to excel on a number of external exams and gain entry to the world’s top universities.
